You cannot reason with someone who is being unreasonable.

"Unexpressed feeling never die. They are buried alive and come back later in ugly ways." (Stephen Covey)

Criticism is not a motivator.

Relationships matter:  change comes through forming trusting relationships. People, not programs change people.

Good parenting requires sacrifice. Childhood lasts for only a few brief years , but it should be given priority while it is passing before your eyes

The “Difficult” Child

  • Do you find your child difficult to raise?
    Yes or No
  • Do you find your child’s behaviour hard to understand?
    Yes or No
  • Are you often battling with your child?
    Yes or No
  • Do you sometimes feel inadequate or guilty as a parent?
    Yes or No
  • Is your marriage being affected by your child’s behaviour?
    Yes or No

“Yes” to any of the above questions may indicate you are dealing with a “difficult” child. Temperamentally difficult children confuse and upset even experienced parents and teachers. They often act in ways that are defiant, stubborn, loud, aggressive, whiny, hyperactive, clingy, shy, negative, picky and sometimes are impossible to deal with. This workshop offers practical, compassionate advice to parents of hard-to-raise children.
